National Mobilization to Support Immigrant Workers Rights!


Community Rally for Immigration Rights
 
May 1, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
At the corner of Washington Ave. & Lark St. in downtown Albany.
  - During the rally, some immigrants will speak of loved ones being arrested and deported.   - We are advocating for real immigration reform.  - Please bring photographs of people who have been arrested/deported from our community.    - Please wear white shirts - in solidarity with immigrants - Please bring signs in language of your choice - We will distribute information to pedestrians - This is a peaceful gathering - please follow nonviolent guidelines.   Prior to the rally, some folks will gather at 11am in front of Holy Family Church (corner of Central Ave. and North Lake), then walk to the intersection of Washington and Lark.
